Learning Mentor Meeting

Parents and Learning mentors of Grade 7 - 9 students are invited to join a learning mentor meeting on September 25 at 2:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to gain some helpful tips and tricks to help your middle year's child succeed in an online learning environment!

Three experienced teachers will share their knowledge in a short presentation and will be available for questions and answers! Links for the meetings will be shared with you in your teachers weekly newsletter the week of Sept 23. You do not need to pre-register. We look forward to seeing you there!

What is a Learning Mentor?

A learning mentor is any adult responsible for providing instruction and support at home. While the role may change slightly as a student moves from elementary to high school, learning mentors remain essential to student success in an online environment.

Sask DLC is committed to working closely with learning mentors, recognizing the vital role they play in helping students thrive online.

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses to Saskatchewan students who choose to study online. We empower students and families to choose the learning environment that works best for them, while supporting their graduation plan.
