Brace Yourself - The Hour of AI is here!

Get ready to join students across Saskatchewan, and around the world, for this year’s Hour of AI as part of Computer Science Education Week. This exciting event invites learners to explore how artificial intelligence works, try hands-on activities, and learn what it means to use AI responsibly.

.

The Hour of AI gives students a chance to experiment, think creatively, and build confidence using the digital tools shaping their world. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity!

Explore Together at Home
Hour of AI activities are designed for both classroom and at-home use. Families can complete them together during December 8–14, or anytime that works best. Each activity introduces simple AI concepts through engaging, hands-on tasks your child can do on their own or with support.

Where to Find the Activities
All five ready-to-use lessons are available on the AI Hub on the Resource Bank. Several lessons are already posted if your child would like to get started early. GO TO THE HOUR OF AI COLLECTION.

Why Participate?
The Hour of AI is a great way to:

• spark curiosity
• build digital confidence
• encourage responsible technology use
• help students see themselves as creators, not just consumers of technology

Join the fun and explore the Hour of AI with your child this December—or anytime they’re inspired to learn something new!

Need Help?  Pop in for assistance on Friday, December 12th between 1:30 & 2:30PM – Join HERE.
