Agricultural Equipment Technician / Parts Technician Learning Camp

Students across Saskatchewan attended our learning camp at Saskatchewan Polytechnic to get hands-on experience in the agriculture industy.

AET and Parts high school students took part in our annual learning camp, where they explored essential skills for a thriving career in agriculture. Students delved into topics like safety protocols, tools and machinery, drive trains, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Through hands-on activities and expert guidance, they got a real taste of what it’s like to work in this dynamic and in-demand field.

If agriculture sparks your interest, consider enrolling in AET 20 or 30 courses! Offered in Semester 1, these courses combine 50 hours of online theory from September to mid-November with a 50-hour work placement at an agriculture equipment dealership, arranged by Sask DLC. Start building your future in agriculture today!

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses to Saskatchewan students who choose to study online. We empower students and families to choose the learning environment that works best for them, while supporting their graduation plan.
