Louis Riel Day
November 16, also known as Louis Riel Day, marks the anniversary of his 1885 execution. Discover more about Louis Riel, the 364 km highway in Saskatchewan named in his honor, and the Saskatchewan artist who crafted metal sculptures celebrating the Métis contributions to our history.
Remembrance Day
Sask DLC will be hosting our No Stone Left Alone Remembrance Day service November 7 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Saskatoon Woodlawn Cemetery WWI Cairn.
